JBL Premium Audio System
RAV4’s multimedia setup is complemented by an available JBL audio system with 9 speakers (Limited models), Clari-Fi technology, and Sirius XM. Enhancing onboard multimedia features, RAV4 can be had with up to five USB ports between the front and rear rows and an available Qi wireless charging tray positioned at the front of the center console.
Digital Display Rearview Mirror
There’s more to see in a RAV4. In addition to a standard backup camera, Limited models feature a Digital Display Rearview Mirror that shows you what’s behind you, even if your line-of-sight is blocked -- and a Bird’s Eye View Monitor, that gives you a full 360-degree view of your surroundings.
Power Back Door
Enjoy easy access to RAV4’s large cargo area with an available power back door. On Trail and XLE models, the back door is opened and closed with the push of the button on the key fob. On Limited models, the hands-free power back door is operated with a wave of your foot under the rear bumper.

Active Torque All Wheel Drive
RAV4 AWD LE and AWD XLE feature an active torque all wheel drive system that shifts from front wheel drive to all wheel drive as soon as the system senses wheel slippage. You save on fuel when the going is good, and get enhanced traction the moment you need it. Seamlessly and automatically.
Multi-Terrain Select
Answer the call of the wild. Multi-Terrain Select takes RAV4’s highly evolved four-wheel drive performance to a new level. The system allows you to select from four modes then regulates wheel spin accordingly to give you maximum traction on the most challenging terrain -- including mud, sand, rocks, and dirt. Standard on all AWD gas models.
Dynamic Force Engine
Powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder Dynamic Force Engine, RAV4 gas models put more power at your disposal, while getting more out of every litre. Paired to a direct shift 8-speed automatic transmission, RAV4 delivers sportier acceleration, better fuel economy, and a smoother more responsive ride.
Dynamic Torque Vectoring All Wheel Drive
RAV4 Trail and Limited (gas only) feature Dynamic Torque Vectoring All Wheel Drive with Rear Driveline Disconnect. A Toyota first, the system can send up to 50% of engine torque to the rear wheels, plus distribute it to the left or right rear wheel for exceptional control. When it isn’t needed, the system ingeniously transmits all driving force to the front wheels -- reducing energy loss, improving fuel efficiency, and smoothing out the ride.
